Project Manager ( Civil Engineer )

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
• A minimum of 7 years of work experience
• At least 5 years of work experience in the port, chemical, petrochemical, or related industries
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Professional Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• No restrictions for international travel
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide a superior customer/client experience

• Ability to manage civil engineering projects from conception through end of construction
• Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project
• Prepare project status reports on a regular basis
• Review of civil structural and geotechnical design drawings, studies, reports,and specifications
• Responsible for overseeing capital improvement projects
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and monitor progress against these plans
• Organize preparation of civil engineering documents (Static design projects, calculation reports, geotechnical projects&reports)
• Ability to manage reinforcement projects considering local regulations
• Evaluating the most convenient contractors from techical point of view by taking intoaccount specifications and project needs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies
• Participate in industrial plants / ports audits from civil engineering point of review.
