We are looking for a Project Manager ( Mechanical Engineering ) to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 7 years of work experience
• At least 5 years of work experience in the chemical, mining, petrochemical, or related industries
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Professional Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• No restrictions for international travel
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide a superior customer/client experience
• Ability to take the initiative
• Flexible and adaptable approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical engineering projects, technical specifications, calculations and bid documents
• Responsible for overseeing capital improvement projects, reviews and approves studies, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules and monitor progress against these plans
• Support multi-discipline projects throughout the full project lifecycle from concept phase to final handover
• Ability to manage mechanical engineering projects from conception through start-up
• Evaluate the most convenient vendors from techical point of view by taking into account specifications and project needs
• Participate in meetings with vendors in order to receive technical support in mechanical engineering design & manufacturing & erection works
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies
• Participate in industrial plants audits from mechanical point of review
