QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

·        BA degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering or closely related fields.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control or audit required.

·        Fluency in English is a must.

·        Deep knowledge of setting up or review of internal control system, risk management for a large company.

·        Able to manage complexity and ambiguity.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills required along with proven ability to effectively work under pressure and within tight deadlines and should courage to confront difficult issues with the appropriate response.

·        Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills.

·        Strong ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the company.

·        Proven ability in building strong relationships across organization globally.

·        Strong project management skills - ability to successfully run multiple projects in different cultural environments with several stakeholders.

·        Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior executives, stakeholders and cross functional business leaders.

·        Professional knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and MS Office products.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Implement the internal control program defined by the VSY Group in order to strengthen the efficiency of processes and prevent from the risks, contributing to the continuous and sustainable development of our activities.

·        Standardizing and streamlining controls and processes across differing business units and entities during harmonization of controls/processes.

·        Evaluate and challenge the organization’s system of internal control to ensure that it is functioning as planned and that it is updated as necessary to meet changes in operating conditions.

·        Proactively promote effective internal controls to mitigate the risk of fraud and error.

·        Assist in the coordination of the audit effort with those of the company’s internal and external auditors.

·        Work with the process owners to drive sustainable solutions that mitigate the identified risks reported in Internal Audit reports.

·        Perform cross-functional design and process reviews in order to challenge existing design effectiveness and provide expertise on control design.

·        Ensure that managers are aware of the fundamental principles of internal control in their area by carrying out awareness-raising and training activities.

·        Demonstrating to the business the relevance of internal control i.e. demonstrating that it brings value added to the business and is not just a regulatory exercise.

·        Coordinate projects intended to improve internal controls.

·        Coordinate the timely planning and execution of internal control tests.

·        Ensure timely completion of such testing (in line with yearly plan) to enable VSY Group management to conclude whether VSY’s internal control system is effective.

·        Monitor and coordinate the timely and sustainable remediation of deficiencies.
