QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Viridis Real Estate was established in 2008 in London, operating in real estate development and investment. Viridis develops premium office and student accommodation projects in the UK, Germany, Austria and Portugal. Viridis recently entered the Turkish real estate market with three premium residential projects in Çengelköy, Reşadiye and Riva.

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to be a part of Viridis Construction team.

Required Qualifications;

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields,

·         Min. 8 years of managerial experience (construction industry is an asset),

·         Excellent command of spoken and written English,

·         To be proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem solving,

·         To be able to deliver to agreed commitments on time,

·         Strong attention to detail,

·         Excellent communication skills,

·         Advanced skills in Microsoft Office/Excel,

·         To be organised, coupled with strong interpersonal skills,

·         To take the initiative and to work well under pressure,

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of weekly and monthly management reporting submissions for review,
  • Dive and own the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts in collaboration with the full business,
  • Completing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Building (with support/training) FP&A Models for use by the leadership team & founders,
  • Business partnering with finance and the broader business – becoming a representative for the function and providing value-add,
  • Pro-actively investigating incoming reports to ensure accuracy and completeness,
  • Reviewing incoming information from other teams, updating reports, completing reconciliations, sub schedules and checks, collate and create commentaries,
  • Creating and updating supporting packs and schedules to set deadlines,
  • Liaising with external partners, proactively resolving issues and escalating as required.
  • Performing Cash Flow planning process with daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports,

·         Managing legal processes and official correspondence with official institutions (tax office, SSI, etc.),

·         Evaluating, developing and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency,

·         Providing leadership and accounting advice for the team of four members.
