The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the Utilities Specialist role will make an impact:

• Management of site utility systems (Purified water, HVAC, Steam, Compressed air etc.
• Management of administrative role of utility systems (Purified water, HVAC, Steam, Compressed air etc.
• Planning and performing scheduled maintenance processes and utilities team to perform necessary maintenance requirements on utilities equipment without any deviation from scheduled plan.
• Ensure utilities equipment (Purified water, HVAC, Steam, Compressed air etc.) is available and maintained to the correct standard.
• Responsible for execution of maintenance activities and commissioning activities for projects at site
• Dealing with failures related to utilities equipment and preparing planned and unplanned downtime analyzes
• Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to increase reliability, capability, and yield
• Being responsible for defining, designing, developing, monitoring and refining an “Utilities Asset Maintenance Plan”
• Collaborating with and providing guidance to functional departments of maintenance, repair and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
• Constantly keep updated equipment spare parts lists, adding whenever necessary new spare parts to the equipment;
• Dealing with operational problems
• Dealing with process and equipment safety issues
• Document maintenance and repair works
• Maintain detailed system documentation
• Create documents for system qualification and follow its implementation
• Manage utilities projects
• Actively participate in the development and optimization of procedures and processes

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Graduated from Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities
• Min 3 years experience in a similar role in pharmaceutical operations and expert knowledge of utilities and facilities equipment is required.
• Strong analytical skills, good relationship management, problem solving skills, capacity to plan and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to work as a team member and/or independently towards departmental objectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Turkish and English
• Essential IT skills – particularly in MS Office and Autocad
• Ability to adopt to a dynamic work environment
