GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI
Role:
The role of Innovation and Technology Coordinator at Koç School is to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative learning experiences that align with the school's goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and emerging technology trends.
The Innovation and Technology Coordinator is responsible for guiding teachers in designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that support student development and drive academic outcomes with the help of innovative learning technologies. This includes managing the educational technology budget, selecting and implementing learning technologies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of learning programs.
The Innovation and Technology Coordinator also plays a critical role in fostering a culture of innovation within the school. This includes identifying and promoting innovative ideas and practices, creating opportunities for experimentation and learning, and developing partnerships with external organizations to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all stakeholders to create learning technology strategy and align innovative learning experiences with the school's goals and objectives
- Collaborating with teaching faculty to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that support student development and drive academic results
- Developing and implementing instructional strategies utilizing technology in support of the educational goals of the organization
- Developing innovative solutions that integrate technology into the curriculum, while advising faculty on the most effective approaches
- Creating, deploying, and maintaining digital tools, applications, and processes that support learning objectives and initiatives in collaboration with the IT department
- Designing and delivering engaging learning technology professional development programs, workshops, and courses that address diverse learning styles and levels of technological proficiency.
- Conducting needs analysis, identifying new learning resources, evaluating existing resources, and determining ongoing maintenance requirements for learning experience program sustainability.
- Managing the educational technology and innovation budget to ensure the effective use of resources.
- Selecting and implementing learning technologies that enhance the learning experience for students and teachers.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning experience and technology programs through data analysis, feedback collection, and assessment methodologies.
- Identifying and promoting innovative ideas and practices that improve teaching and learning.
- Creating opportunities for experimentation and learning to support faculty development and growth.
- Establishing partnerships with external organizations to remain up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in education.
- Ensuring that the school stays ahead of the curve in terms of learning and development, continuously innovating to meet the evolving needs of students and the school.
Requirements:
- B.S. or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Psychology & Technology, Educational Technology, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning technology, and educational leadership
- Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement learning technology strategies that support the overall mission of the Koç School and improve the student experience.
- Proven ability to manage and execute projects with excellent project management and technical skills
- Proven program management experience in adult learning or coaching
- In-depth knowledge of current and emerging learningl technologies and their use in education
- Experience with relevant technologies including an LMS, authoring tools and virtual and non-virtual classroom technologies
- Deep understanding of teaching and learning processes and the ability to apply them in a K-12 environment
- Experience facilitating faculty workshops and training sessions to support professional development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for innovation and education to promote and implement innovative ideas and practices in a K-12 environment
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to foster a culture of innovation and effectively lead and collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Experience in an international working environment or having been involved in international learning projects.
- Deep knowledge of Design Thinking and Human Centered Design Methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards.
- Deep knowledge of change management strategies.
