Accounting & Reporting Assistant Manager

Reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for;

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly-based financial reports in accordance with the terms of Turkish Local Regulation (TR GAAP), Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) as well as IFRS to the attention of shareholders, banks and other related parties for all vdf Group Companies.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly-basis portfolio and risk status reports to the attention of Central Bank of Turkey (CBTR) / Risk Center, BRSA and Ministry of Finance.
• Preparation and submitting of special reporting packages to VW Financial Services AG for Bundesbank reporting purposes.
• Following and management of accounting transaction for vdf Group Companies.
• Checking and booking of all incoming and outgoing invoices and management of payments to personnel, suppliers etc. third parties.
• Executing Back-Office functions and to check and confirm of Treasury Front Office’s transactions.
• Communicate, coordinate and support external auditors for full annual tax certification report, and also for the preparation of annual BRSA and IFRS financial reports.
• Prepare regular year-end closing meetings to inform company management, shareholders and related parties about companies’ annual financial results and business performance.

Qualifications;

· BA degree, preferably major in Business Administration, Banking , Finance / Economics, master degree is a plus

· Min 8 years of experience in finance, accounting or reporting departments of banks or financial institutions.

· 2+ years of managerial experience, preferably in multinational organizations

· Up to date knowledge of Turkish Accounting Standards , BRSA Regulations and IFRS,

· CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

· Experience in Big 4 is a plus

· Up to date and adequate level of knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations

· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Strategic mindset and strong goal-orientation

· Strong leadership, planning and organization skills

· Time management regarding to weekly and monthly deadline

· Male candidates should have no military obligations
