QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key accountabilities - Always ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in: Greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.
- Handles, or relays to related F&B Pool Manager, or Asst. F&B Pool Manager for all guest and internal customer complaints, and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Exceeds guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles. Looks for improvement for better service standard with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
- Monitor and ensure smooth operations of the sections appointed (restaurant / banquet / beverage – as applicable).
- Ensure co-operation and smooth communication between staff in sections appointed and other departments.
- Motivates, supervises the department employees in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision and core values of HSH.
- Submit weekly staff roster / training schedules to F&B Pool Manager.
General requirements - Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
- Good organization skills & Time management.
- Good trainer skills in order to ensure service excellency.
- Good hands-on service.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).
- Supervisory experience in complex operation in large scale restaurant.
- Degree or Diploma in hotel management.
