What about being a part of our colorful and global family? We are looking for a new team member who will join us to;

-        Design dies and related tooling used in EPDM Rubber and TPV extrusion processes for automotive sealing systems manufacturing.

-        Carry out numerical modeling of Rubber and TPV flows throughout the extrusion molding,

-        Follow validation productions on the lines and make necessary improvements on dies following the budget/time/quality requirements,

-        Pursue R&D studies and engineering simulation activities in EPDM/TPV extrusion field to enhance group know-how.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare the 3D CAD models of extrusion dies and corresponding production line elements,
• Perform computational analyses for internal flow and thermal characteristics of the dies to determine dead zones, flow disorders, high-pressure fields, etc.,
• Analyze mold flow implementing CAE and improve the geometry accordingly in the CAD environment securing mass/pressure balance before tool manufacturing,
• Ensure the dies and related tooling are manufactured in accordance with the CAD data by in-house capabilities or outsourcing,
• Participate and control die validation tryouts, decide and apply necessary modifications,
• Manage the die development stage and deliver the product in parallel to the project timing and quality standards,
• Advise the product development team when necessary from the viewpoint of extrusion tooling and manufacturing,
• Document best practices and guidelines for die/tooling design and engineering simulation activities,
• Conduct and document continuous R&D activities to improve the engineering and production capabilities of the group.

Qualification :

• Min of. Bachelor’s Degree from related disciplines; preferably in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics,
  
• Ongoing/completed MSc/Ph.D. study in related fields will be of preference,
• Solid experience and high competency at Solidworks or other equivalent 3D CAD software suites,
• Having experience or a strong foundation in the field of CFD or FEA, and hands-on experience with at least one of the software packages like SW Flow Simulation, ANSYS, Star-CCM, etc.,
• Eagerness to make research/academic studies on EPDM Rubber and TPV processing,
• Fluency in both written and spoken English,
• Proactive team player with excellent oral/written communication skills,
• Aptitude to work with short-term assignments in a busy work schedule,
• No restriction to travel domestically and abroad.
