QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Sönmez Trafo ?is a leading manufacturer of power and special type transformers and reactors for industrial, power grid, railway and marine applications. The company’s activities include development, design, manufacturing and service.

The Company was founded in 1976 and located in Gebze which is close to Istanbul. The modern transformer production plant was set up over an area 40000 sq.m., and is a large plant for special transformers. The plant makes use of advanced transformer/reactor manufacturing technologies based on know-how provided by ourself. 


Sonmez Trafo is a growing company with around 150 qualified staff. The plant is divided into the following department: winding, core production, assembly drying vacuum fill oil, modern test laboratory, finishing department and quality assurance department.


Requirements:

·        Graduate from a relevant Bachelor’s degree program, preferably holding a Master’s degree.

·        +5 years of relevant experience in recruitment agencies and inhouse with all level of recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding experience,

·        Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices

·        Experienced in and eager to track and report HR recruitment metrics regularly,

·        Conduct market research to identify strategies to retain employees like salary, trainings and engagement

·        Must be a creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills, a solution-oriented mentality, and the ability to work well in an agile environment.

·        Ability to self-manage, prioritize, organize and multitask.

·        Have excellent written and spoken English language skills.


Job Definition:

·        Responsible for whole recruitment processes end-to-end operations, conduct both execution and operation (contact with candidates, post jobs, organize meetings, make the screening, conduct interviews, and make follow-ups for the processes in the area)

·        Follow onboarding processes, send and record new hire files, prepare systems and tools, and follow up on all processes,

·        Help with the enhancement of the internship program, reach out to top universities,

·        Develop campaigns and events to ensure an attractive employer brand strategy and initiatives
