Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• At least 2 years professional experience in the energy business; experience in the power, renewables or gas market will be preferred
• Track record of exposure to regulatory agencies, market and grid operators, NGOs in the energy sector at relevant levels
• Willingness to excel in energy market rules and regulations
• Self-starter with an ambitious and flexible attitude to fit in the ever-changing work environment
• An absolute team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and representation skills
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent planning, coordination, follow up and reporting skills
• Professional use of the English language both written and oral
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  
  

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Turkish power and gas market framework, structure and market fundamentals
• Monitor regulatory changes and energy policy documents that may have an impact on the energy industry and company’s all businesses in power and gas
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of impact of regulations on the company and the energy industry
• Coordinate and perform regulatory reporting
• Draft official correspondences with internal/external stakeholders for instances regulatory authorities, governmental agencies, system and market operators regarding regulatory matters
• Attend and take part in workgroups of NGOs in the energy sector and report on developments
• Cope with analyses of the Turkish Energy Markets, collection and update of market data and preparation of regular and ad hoc reports
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams at all activities
