Data Analyst

 We are looking for a "Data Analyst" to be assigned to the Digital Transformation Center of our company, which is one of the most important organizations in the defense industry, railway and trailer sectors.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Statistics, Mathematical, Industrial, Computer Engineering or related fields with formal Data Science training (i.e master’s degree) preferable,
• Experience of min. 3 years in data related roles,
• Proficiency in English,
• Experience in Canva and other related programmes,
• Advanced level of MS Office, especially Excel,
• Proficiency in at least one BI tool (preferably Power BI), including new report creation, Dataset creation and maintenance,
• Clear understanding of measures, calculated columns, and creating data table relationships
• Self-motivation and a natural affinity, curiosity and enthusiasm to keep up with current technologies,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Strong communication skills and affinity to perform in teams as well as individual,
• Proactivity, attention to details, strong time management skills and attentiveness to responsibilities,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Residence in Gebze or Sakarya

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ability to work autonomously from identifying the problem stage to finding solution and implementation phase,
• Support the design and development of enterprise wide data analysis and reporting solutions
• Tracking new dataset and/or data column requirements with related departments with the coordination of Digital Transformation Department
• In case of dataset issues, communicating this with DT Department in order to find a resolution as soon as possible
• Maintaining Power BI dataset, creating regular dataset backups and regular dataset health checks
• Maintaining new DAX formulations and/or calculated columns according to operational KPI criteria requirements
• Creating User Role Profiles within Power BI for visibility limitations, report accessibility, etc.,
• Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to senior management
• Following and improving the daily KPIs closely in order to define the reason of inconsistencies and supporting Operation to maintain the reasons
• To turn raw business data into critical and coordinated information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve skills to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data governance policies.
• Reporting directly to the top management
