Sales Support Expert – Qualifications and Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated colleague to join our software company as a Sales Support Expert.

General Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role within the software industry, preferably with SaaS solutions or HR technology.
  • A solid understanding of HR processes and software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in providing support to a sales team and working in customer-facing roles.
  • A good understanding of the sales cycle and the activities involved in sales support.
  • Able to work with sales targets and quotas.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
  • A valid B-class driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee experience, engagement, talent management, performance management, and other related HR functions.
  • Familiarity with the challenges HR professionals face in managing employee experience and engagement.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements related to HR.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales support tools.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions and cloud-based technologies.

Skills:

  • Strong technical communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills to clearly articulate the value proposition of the software solution to HR professionals.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer requirements and address their needs effectively.
  • A customer service mindset focused on building and maintaining long-term relationships with HR professionals.
  • Ability to provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • A proactive approach to anticipating customer needs and providing appropriate support.
  • Strong attention to detail in preparing sales-related documentation, proposals, and reports.
  • Competence in tracking and managing sales-related data in CRM systems.
  • Assertive, solution-oriented communication throughout the contract and conflict resolution processes, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Ability to build networks through effective channels and manage future expectations.

Job Description:

  • Identify and engage potential customers, selling products and services by explaining their features and benefits.
  • Address customer concerns, build lasting relationships, and provide ongoing support.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals, negotiating and finalizing contracts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and participate in events.
  • Provide customer insights to support product improvements and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare client proposals.
  • Conduct product presentations, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with security and privacy policies.
  • Leverage digital channels to generate sales opportunities.
  • Working based on targets and achieving the given goals.
  • Attend industry events & conferences to generate new pipeline.
