Research & Development Biomedical Engineer

Your work will focus on

• Development of novel devices, accessories, and other specialized cardiac implant products in close collaboration with physicians and external partners
• R&D activities/projects are performed in compliance with the project timelines, milestones, and project budget plans.
• Preparation of test protocols, reports, budgets, and presentations as required
• Manage testings performed by third parties.
• Performing design verification/validation studies, bench testing, and technical documentation according to international medical device guidelines and regulations
• Support of technical aspects during the preparation of CE mark and international registration documentation.

We are looking for a candidate, who

• Holds a degree, Bachelor, Master, or Diploma in an engineering field, preferably in biomedical engineering
• Has experience in an engineering department of a manufacturing company in a regulated environment, preferably R&D in a medical device company in the area of cardiology
• Is experienced in the whole development process for medical devices, starting with an idea, creating requirements, and V&V tests, up to provide relevant documentation for the submission to the notified body
