QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

As an important player celebrating our 30th anniversary year  inflooring industry as a production company,  we are looking for an  Export Specialist who will join our Sales&Marketing  Team in our office in Basin Express, Istanbul.  Our company has been exporting to more than 35 countries in more than 20 brands serving to mainly Transport, Commercial and Residential Flooring Industries. We needan experienced team player with an active export marketbackground who will help us tofind new markets abroad inflooring business

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will be working in sales&marketing department to support export operation. The job description includes but not limited to the following tasks,  

 

  • Will report to Sales&Marketing Manager.
  • Will assist Sales&Marketing Management in coordinating markets, sectors and customers.
  • Will lead sales management to forge convenientsales policies in relatedindustries&markets
  • Will have continuous communuciation withpotential stakeholders.
  • Will primarily find new markets, sales pointsand stakeholders abroad.
  • Will adapt the customer and dealer channel portfolio to our company
  • Will prepare and present sales&marketingpresentations, perform product demonstrations .
  • Will prepare proformas based on customer demands in the given perspective by sales policies.
  • Will coordinate follow-ups of all documentations of related incoterms (LC, CAD, DAP etc).
  • Will coordinate and follow-up clients’ credit applications, limits and related processes inEximbank.
  • Will plan, coordinate, execute, monitor export operation with all related process ownersthrough ERP system and continuous communication.
  • Will always pay requiered attention to our branding and will try todedect right candidates to cooperate in order to achieve an organic and sustainable growth base.
  • Will primarily deal with customers abroad for anyoperational & quality concern when needed
  • Will actively monitor and respond –when necessary-foreign trade legislations in related markets.
  • Will effectively  coordinate all related parties including clients, inspection bodies, financial stakeholders, transporters, quality, production, shipment, finance and other processes.
  • Will reflect excellent presentation skills in customer meetings, exhibitions, customer visits.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly export managementreports
  • Support local sales team members in needed actions. 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree –preferably in  BA, Economics, Int. Trade & Business Departmens of a reputable university
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in asimilar position serving preferably flooring or automotive fabrics&artificial leather sectors or residential carpet&parquet sectors. 
  • Excellent command of international trading operations:  documentation, payment and delivery terms, (INCOTERMS) in international trade,foreign trade legislations and logistics transactions
  • Excellent command of Turkish foreign trade and Customs regulations and documentation
  • Excellent analytical skills, focused onproblem solving,
  • Excellent command of English language is mandatory; the knowledge of at least asecond foreign language amongArabic& Russian&French  would be considered as aplus
  • Excellent command of MS Office
  • Good command of of ISO 9001,  ISO 14001 quality systems.
  • Presantable.
  • Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail,communication,customer service and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority
  • Time management and priority setting
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Have no obstacle to drive
  • Have no obstacle to travel abroad.
  • Ability to deal with stress and work with deadlines
