Which competences do we expect?

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic achievement in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in material planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment (experience with sub-contractor material planning is a plus).
• Proficiency in English - both verbal and written
• Strong command of MS Office programs, especially Excel is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems  (SAP knowledge, especially MM Module, is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills
• Has the required functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job in the best way possible
• Demonstrates detailed knowledge and expertise in own area
• Weighs the pros and cons of each option before making a decision and moving forward
• Follows the levels of authority for decision making in the organization
• Uses logic and advanced methods to find effective solutions to difficult problems
• Takes into consideration the lessons learned from experience, different needs, and the impact of the decision on others
• Male candidates must have completed military service.

What will be your responsibilities and duties?

• Develop and execute short- and medium-term material plans for direct materials. 
• Manage purchase orders, share shipment plans with suppliers, and monitor deliveries.
• Ensure materials are available in stock at the right time.
• Prepare and send daily, weekly, and monthly shipment plans to suppliers.
• Files documents such as order documents, correspondence, reports, etc. related to the field of activity in an organized manner
• Optimize material stock levels and box levels
• For the assigned category, calculates and updates material master data (such as safety stock, lead time, etc.), ensures accuracy of relevant files and the SAP system up to date
• Minimize supplier-related downtime and improve delivery performance.
