Tendering and Quotation Specialist

Meteor Group which has business activities in various fields such as retail, construction, tourism, industry, and service is searching for a team member who will be employed as “TENDERING & QUOTATION SPECIALIST” in its Izmir factory manufacturing high quality escalators and elevators under Löher brand located in Izmir Menemen Free Zone.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing and evaluating the public and international tender files and related technical specifications,
• Providing full support to the Sales Team in preparing the tender file having coordination with the relevant units during the tender preparation phase,
• Responding to the questions and requests from the institutions and organizations regarding the tender
• Regularly tracking the public and international tender platforms
• Having close relations with the authorities of institutions and organizations that are potential customers of the company, and following their potential projects,
• Following the changes in the related laws and legislations

 REQUIRED QUALITIES

• Having at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering faculties of reputable universities
• Very good command of English both written and verbal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering departments (managing the tendering process, tender file preparation) of companies preferably in the similar sector
• Having knowledge about the public and international standard contracts, regulations, and legislations
• Having a very good level of MS Office knowledge
• Well organized, good team player, compatible, engaged, accurate , confident, and precise
• Analytic thinker, effective communicator and negotiator, researcher and result oriented
• Having excellent skills on reporting and presenting
• B-class driver license
• No restriction for travelling
