Compliance Specialist AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey) (Contractor) & PG 24

Based in Istanbul 

Duties& Responsibilities:                   

80 % of the duties will be on third party intermediaries (TPI) related activities:

• TPI Monitoring of  all TPI activities by distributors. 

• Implementing and following up on the UD / Management Action Plan and guiding the business partners to close gaps and implementing corrective actions.

• Acting as a consultant, provide day-to-day guidance, advice to covered employees, provides necessary training program internally and externally (Distributors, Third Party Intermediaries) and supports proper documentation regarding function specific policies & procedures (e.g., Due Diligence, Cross-Border Activities, Fee for Services, Hospitality)

• Providing metrics as required by the Compliance Officer based on risk assessment and other compliance programs.

• Deploy compliance policies and/or procedures in the covered business unit.

• Tailor compliance training materials, deliver appropriate training to covered employees at business unit, regional level.

• Monitoring and Controlling Sample Process.

• Compiles compliance data, provides routine and non-routine reports as requested, and keeps listings current

• Organizes and updates department files and databases; and supports monitoring activities of Compliance related value transfers, (e.g., samples monitoring program) 

• Operates to support healthcare compliance management software and programs (like approval systems).

• Responds to problems by investigating and providing solutions in scope of Health Care Compliance

• Provides some administrative support (document preparation, file management, scheduling) to department

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum of BA/BS required 

• Minimum of 2-4 years business and/or compliance-related experience, including a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in HCC or related compliance function 

• Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, standards, financial or auditing practices and company business and policies. Knowledge about industry associations 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

• Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of organization based on an understanding of their concerns, needs and motivations 

• Fluency in English (reading, writing, verbal) 

• Ability to analyses data and trends, and communicate complex information to all levels of the company 

• Knowledge of commercial sales and marketing practices for healthcare products, Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and services and the related compliance risks 

• Demonstrated experience with TPI relationships is required 

Preferred Competencies: 

• MBA or any other advanced degree preferred 

• Experience in the development and/or implementation of a compliance program in accordance with an organization's risk profile 

• Experience working with governmental regulatory bodies, and/or managing Compliance company policies
