Non-Production Materials Buyer (Manisa)

We are looking for a "Non-Production Materials Buyer" for our global customer operating in the world’s leading supplier of automation technology and technical education.

• Plan and carry out all purchasing activities in the area of non-production (indirect) materials and services to support the build-up of a new production site and its later reliable operation in close cooperation with global purchasing functions,
• Build-up and sustainably optimise the supplier base in terms of costs, quality and delivery time in alignment with global and regional commodity strategies,
• Execute bidding processes, requests for quotations, offer comparisons and determinations of delivery conditions,
• Project-related negotiations and contract management,
• Support on the local implementation of a compliant purchasing processes and its continuous improvement,
• Planning and monitoring of all NPM (indirect) purchasing activities and results (Cost reduction and Cost avoidance),
• Ordering of materials and services, monitoring and follow-up of delivery schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: completed studies in mechanical / metallurgical / industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent,
• Professional experience in indirect Purchasing of at least 3 years, preferred in the business field of mechanical engineering
• Profound knowledge and experience in contract law,
• Self-initiative, highly developed communication skills, persuasiveness and problem-solving competences as well as ability to work in a team,
• Strong negotiation experience,
•  Profound SAP and MS office skills, 
• Experience in the management and control of cross-functional projects,
• Working experience in international teams, 
• Very good communication skills, fluent in English language (further foreign languages are an advantage, especially German),
• Willingness to travel.
