Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of ITL Turkey and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. He/She will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.

Responsibilities

• Leading the ITL Turkey accounting and finance function.
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
• Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, meets deadlines in a fast paced work environment.  This includes ad hoc requests from the UK Group holding company.
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
• Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll and tax compliances (qualified to sign off the required monthly / regular submissions to the authorities, VAT and other taxes)
• Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process. Collaborates with the executives and directors to create budgets and track key performance indicators.
• Managing banking relationships, cash management and other treasury related activities.
• Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.
• Maintain and update statutory and legal supporting/original documentation.
• Liaise with accounting/auditing firm who assists ITL in its monthly reporting, filing, and accounting functions.
• Monthly variance analysis of operations performance.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures within country from a compliance perspective.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head of finance or similar role.
• Full/part qualification in a recognized professional accounting body is required.
• Bachelor’s in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related major would be an added advantage. Outstanding communication (both English and Turkish) and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with Logo software and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
