INTEC ENERGY – Design Drafter (mechanical/electrical/civil)

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum two years of Vocational High School (Technical) degree in mechanical/electrical/civil,

· Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical/electrical/civil designing

· Renewable energy experience is an asset

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Excellent command of written and spoken English

· Having good planning, organization, and multitasking skills as well as reporting abilities.

· Open to collaboration, hardworking

· Enthusiastic about learning and self-development

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Creating detailed drawings of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.

· Using CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical designs, including geometric dimensions and tolerances.

· Collaborating with engineers and designers to review and modify designs, ensuring they meet technical specifications and standards.

· Performing calculations and simulations to validate the design, ensuring it meets performance and safety requirements.

· Creating bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions for the manufacturing and construction of mechanical parts and equipment.

· Conducting quality control checks on designs to identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies.

· Maintaining and updating CAD drawings and models to reflect changes in design or manufacturing processes.

· Working closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are accurately translated into physical products.

· Keeping up to date with the latest CAD software and techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Solar Structure System experience is plus.
