Mechanical Design Engineer

IHI DALGAKIRAN MACHINERY which was established with the partnership of IHI Holding from Japan and DALGAKIRAN Group from Turkey is the first and only Turbo Compressor manufacturer of our country.

As IHI DALGAKIRAN, we are looking for a candidate with the following criteria to carry out controlling project process, in our fast-growing team. This candidate will be responsible for leading relevant departments in project process acording to project schedules. 

To be assigned as a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company’s Kocaeli / Dilovası location;  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 2 years experience in field of mechanical systems or machine design,
• Able to think analytically, willing to work technically, prone to teamwork and intense work tempo,
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a result oriented, risk managing, time planning approach,
•  Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work with cross-functional teams,
• Able to actively use 3D design programs (Creo is preferred) and 2D drawing programs,
• Knowledge of Product Data Management programs, experienced as a user (PDM, Windchill),
• Preferably fluent in English,
• No military service for male candidates,
• Having B level drive licence,
• Residing in Istanbul-Anatolian side or Kocaeli (İzmit, Derince, Körfez, Dilovası, Gebze, Çayırova) or relocate.

• Preparation of 3D design, 2D drawing and product tree in the Creo Parametric program of the machines that will be shaped according to the project needs,
• Preparation of technical specifications for the parts to be ordered,
• Performing data management in accordance with the rules in the product data management (Windchill) program,
• Using the 2D drawing program (Draftsight),
• Preparation of the outputs of the projects in accordance with the standards and plan,
• Execution of the process as a team together with the technical draftsman and documentation engineer who prepares the technical drawings and customer documents of the machine,
•  In standardization and localization studies, working on parts such as part design, preparation of technical drawings, preparation of bill of materials, preparation of technical specifications,
•  Conducting technical meetings and site visits with customers when necessary during the execution of projects.
