Assistant Merchandiser

The Role

• Follow up with buying house and buyers related to production queries.
• Working closely with production team and ensure timely dispatch of shipment.
• Keep customer updated on order progress, advise of intake delays and request extensions.
• Chasing up samples and lab dips, print approvals.
• Co-ordination between internal department to ensure smooth and effective running of order.
• General managing of the account and working with sales, design and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.

• Previous experience working for a fashion supplier in merchandising is required.
• University Gradutes (Preferably Textile, Industry Engineering, Fashion).
• Candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of fabric technical side.
• Candidate should have the monitoring ability of the various processes in sampling.
• Confident speaking to customers and strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work too tight deadlines.
• Highly organised, strong analtyical and numerical skills.
• Active user of Microsoft Office package.
