QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

·         Min 3-4 years of experience in purchasing field, preferably in multinational company,

·         Good command of verbal and written English,

·         Ability to use ERP and MS Office applications,

·         Experienced in cost analysis, supplier management,

·         Experienced in problem solving in purchasing field,

·         Team player with high level of energy and enthusiasm,

·         Keen attention to details and accuracy,

·         Strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills, result oriented,

·         Living in Asian side of Istanbul or around Gebze - İzmit area,

·         Valid Driving License, ability to travel when necessary,

·         No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Reporting to Plant Purchasing Manager,

·         Realizing direct purchasing process, support in indirect purchasing when necessary,

·         Ensuring suppliers’ requirements for delivery, quality and cost performance,

·         Developing cost reduction strategies,

·         Price management, unit price control and revision phase management,

·         Managing the supplier master list, searching for new suppliers and developing existing supplier base, Maintain cost roadmaps and saving studies for financial targets,

·         Supplier selection and conclusion of contracts,

·         Being part of APQP and PPAP process with supplier, Managing supplier launch readiness & program milestones in new project development phase

·         Conducting New Supplier Audits & conduct periodical onsite audits for current suppliers with related team members,

·         Supporting Supplier “Change Request” process with related team members,

·         Monitoring supplier performance and supporting for improving supplier’s performance,

·         Searching for new suppliers and developing existing supplier base,

·         Supporting Global Purchasing Team on the following initiative’s; Outsourcing, Insourcing, Resourcing, Market Test, Make/Buy Studies,

·         Supporting Capacity Study outputs from supplier’s, implement additional actions if needed,

·         Supporting Plant MPL teams to resolve delivery issues with supplier’s.
