We are looking for a “Regional Buyer” for our global client manufacturing water infrastructure technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Technical Engineering degree,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  Logical / Process oriented thinker,
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English and Turkish,
• Good Computer Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), must have ERP experience,
• Ability to travel as requested, maximum 30% Valid passport and Visa,
• Positive “can do” attitude,

Job Description

• Negotiate and manage strategic contracts to deliver value and mitigate risk to our business,
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and support cost reduction projects including continuous improvements initiatives and follow through to completion to support category targets,
• Develop key supplier relationships and enhance collaboration for the company,
• Work with engineering to develop new and alternative suppliers,
• Work with site stakeholders to support various projects, deadlines, or daily purchasing needs,
• Contribute to localization and outsourcing projects; working with supplier during the transition and support the implementation at receiving site,
• Manage supplier bidding events and business awarding,
• Provides purchasing support as needed or defined by manager across the region,
• Active involvement in Value added/Value Engineering projects,
• Project specific work across sites as assigned,
• Work with the Global Category Leaders to develop long term category strategy to drive improvements and deliver value for the organization,
