We are looking for an R&D Engineer (Mineral Processing) for YILDIRIM Group’s metals & mining subsidiary,YILMADEN Holding, to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining and/or Mineral Processing)

·        M.Sc. degree is a plus

·        Academic background in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, and chrome ore mining is a plus

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development

·        Academic writing skills

·        Published papers in respectable journals

·        Knowledge of preparing, managing and presenting R&D projects to national and international institutes to get funding and support

·        Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multinational team environment

·        Able to understand the needs of the market & customers 

·        Able to think broadly about business

·        Eager to do outstanding jobs

·        Able to recognize and understand the emotions of other people

·        Able to listen to different perspectives and show flexibility

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Good project management skills to deliver projects on time and at good quality                                                                                                                         

·        Fluency in both written & spoken English, knowledge of a second language is a plus

·        Good knowledge of MS Office programs, preferably good knowledge of SAP

·        No military obligation for male candidates

Requirements:

·        Report to the R&D Manager

·        Bring ideas to formal R&D projects

·        Manage R&D projects or coordinate the projects managed by consultants

·        Cooperate with universities, institutes, and other R&D centers to develop and complete R&D projects

·        Track all R&D/innovation projects

·        Take part in R&D projects both locally and globally

·        Conduct various technical tests on metals and alloys

·        Develop new products and modifications of the existing ones

·        Ensure the timely completion of new product development activities

·        Follow all R&D milestones for assigned projects

·        Perform all required testing to guarantee a marketable final product

·        Conduct literature reviews

·        Follow up innovations and improvements in the industry and make required analyses to support R&D activities

·        Contact all R&D departments, Sales & Marketing, QA, Planning, and Production
