The QI IW is aware of the installation progress and for which he needs to inspect and verify the completed work in order to approve to proceed with the installation works.
Documents quality control by means of reports and records (ITP) and informs the CM.
Elaborates improvement proposals and corrective measures.
Identifies causer respectively cause of quality defects as far as possible.
Records non-conformities and supports SVIW during further processing and execution
Rectifies minor findings directly on site, prior to creating non-conformity in SAP
Supervises installation quality according to manuals, checklists and protocols and reports issues and compliance to CM and SV IW.
Ensures and supervises, that incoming goods inspection is done by the installation teams.
Supports the GPM on Quality Audit reports, which are conducted by internal or external QC.
Supports SV IW and CM to keep track on Non conformity-Processing.
The Quality Inspector Installation Works responsible for ensuring the WEC quality by checking the work of the installation teams (DOS, tower assembly, grid connection). He is the “eye” on the construction site to be a valuable partner for the Supervisor installation works and Construction manager pointing out unusual proceedings which might lead to delays, quality or safety issues. He is as well responsible for the correctness and completeness of the documentation as protocols or recording of non-conformities.
