Responsibilities

• Conducting research on energy studies; preparing and implementing efficiency-enhancing projects; preparing agreements; controlling implementation, leading the project on sustainability,  energy, and carbon management issues. 
• To follow the national and international legal regulations organized within the scope of energy, to report, and to ensure that the necessary actions are taken in order for the company to fulfill all its obligations.
• To conduct official correspondence with electricity, water, and natural gas provider institutions and organizations and to make visits when necessary, to analyze bills to monitor facility energy usage, identify cost trends, detect errors or fraudulent activities
• Participation in legal audits and group-wide external & internal audits and  coordinating the internal system audit: planning and conducting the internal system audit monitoring the implementation of corrective actions, planning corrective actions, and GAP analysis in the relevant audit areas
• To evaluate the effects on the energy management system by following the changing technologies, legal requirements, and business processes and to check the compliance of energy management system operations and applications with the current ISO 50001 energy management system standard.
• Preparation and follow-up of the short- and medium-term energy budget, provision of the feasibility of proposals from other units, and provision and follow-up of their inclusion in the budget. 

Competencies

• Licence: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Faculty, Master's/PhD (Preferable)
• Industrial Survey Project Certificate (mandatory)
• Software Knowledge: MS Office Programs, Energy tracking programmes
• ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Training (required)/ ISO 9001&14001Certificates Preferred
• It is necessary to know MS Office Programs, Energy Monitoring Programs and Project Management
• At least 5 years of experience in the industry (Maintenance or Technical Services Departments preferred)
