Demand Planning Executive

Danone Turkey is looking for a talented colleague for the "Demand Planning Executive" position.

Demand Planning Executive is the main contact and the responsible of timely and accurate end to end demand forecasting process where he/she will work closely with commercial & operation teams to create consensus & to build unique integrated volume plan and to manage short term requests from the business. He/She must have the ability to operate at all levels within the organization, the ability to influence and motive and to adapt the leadership style to the audience.

In this role you will / will be:

• Develop and maintain a collaborative forecast for the short, medium and long-term horizon for his/her category-channel by executing necessary roadmap of Integrated Business Planning System.
• Facilitate meetings between functions to gain consensus on one single forecast
• Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities, challenge commercial teams in accordance with past learnings.
• Manage short-term demand requests to support sustainable growth.
• Highlight gaps in the demand plan and make sure that necessary actions are taken by related stakeholders.
• Translate potential supply risks from the supply planning and ensure all risks embedded in the unique integrated business plan.
• Challenge and consolidate the promotions and launches sales forecasts projected by the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Measure and manage continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias.

To be able to be successful in the role, you need to:

• University degree preferably in Industrial Engineering
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain-Demand Planning preferably in FMCG .
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
• A self-starter who inspires confidence
• Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
• Ability to influence at senior level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills also in English
• Ability to manage difficult issues and implement positive change
• Advanced level of MS Office Applications
• PowerBI knowledge is a plus
