Digital Product Owner (Mobile Applications)

We are looking for a qualified ‘Digital Product Owner (Mobile Applications) ’ to join our E-Commerce team in Istanbul. The ideal candidate will be responsible for offering digital products and their transition to live in line with the defined and / or continuing business objectives. The candidate's previous or current airline experience will be preferred in the initial selection.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Corendon Airlines online sales channels (mobile & app)
• Creation and development of different and innovative projects for APPLICATION, which will generate extra income for the company and improve the UX, in line with the business requirements. Continuously improve the UI and UX of the platforms with product designers
• Responsible for the implementation of the determined APPLICATION product in all stages. From the design process to the software development; accompanying, monitoring and checking the operational process over to the test phase including having responsibility for final implementation and going live with these products
• To prepare and run user acceptance test (UAT) scenarios
• Driving the partnership with business stakeholders and the development team to define and clarify business requirements. (Agile Project Management)
• Partnering with User Experience, Marketing & Analysis teams to define the persona and customer segments, verify the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and product scope, and determine customer needs in detail
• To ensure the necessary coordination and work follow-up with all relevant units and third party technology companies to ensure that the planned products are completed and put online in a timely manner and to coordinate their work flows
• Active and regular use of Task management systems in order to obtain work outputs on time, according to department requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related fields, preferably Engineering, 4+ years in Product Manager, Product Owner, or System Analyst role in a software or systems integration company is a must
• Being an expert in Digital Marketing (web, mobile and applications), Digital User Experience, Digital Product Management, Analytics and Optimization of Online Projects
• Have a strong technical ability and experience as a product owner, ideally in a data capacity in an e-commerce airlines industry or related field
• Being familiar with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System
• Highly articulate with an excellent command of written and spoken English
• Having strong communication skills
• To be flexible, being a hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems and detail oriented
• To be creative minded with an ability to conceive new and interesting digital products 
• The ability to learn and apply new processes and technology quickly
• Living in İstanbul or willing to relocate
• No restriction on travelling within Turkey & abroad
