QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Electronics or Mechatronics engineering
• At least 5-8 year experience preferably in white goods / automotive manufacturing, or related industries with quality Operations
• Self-driven, open minded, risk-taker. Passionate with results and tuned-in with consumers’ aspirations, measures impact with an outside-in perspective.
• A relentless learner, fueled by consumers’ satisfaction. Maintains a start-up mentality. Adopts an agile approach to new developments, fostering a disintermediated relationship with customers.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Advanced MS Office knowledge, preferably experience in data structures, database management and data analysis by using Minitab
• Ability to use dimensinonal / electronic measurement instruments and test equipment
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) and to organize and work closely with others
• Willingness to travel to supplier sites
• Practical experience of auditing Suppliers within the Machining, Molding, Sheet Metal engineering industry.
• Proven ability to supervise corrective actions and improvement activities with Suppliers
• Good knowledge of basic core quality approaches like; 8d methodologies, FMEA, DMAIC, MSA, SPC, Calibration
• Knowledge about 8d problem solving methods ((DMAIC, Fish bone, 5 Why etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with quality systems (ISO 9001:2015)
• Having a valid driving license and active driver

• Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Lead the development, verification, validation and qualification of current and new suppliers by pro-active methodologies.
• Evaluate the supply base using Supplier Quality Assessment techniques – audit, questionnaire, metrices, etc.
• Ensure that Regulatory, Customer and Business requirements are flowed to suppliers and sub-contractors
• Oversee and participate in the development and initiation of inspection, testing and evaluation techniques for incoming goods.
• Work with Production, SQA, Purchasing R&D , Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, Materials and other departments to define quality standards and procedures.
• Analyze supplier performance both in-house on supplier premises as required.
• Supporting internal audit requirements in accordance with ISO9001:2015 procedures.
• Achieving objectives as detailed by Quality Management.
• Ensure supplier adherence to Work Instructions, Process Control Plans, Engineering Drawings and Specifications.
• Supporting and leading continuous improvement initiatives by IQC best filtering techniques and measurement systems.
• Controlling non-conforming materials in accordance with Haier Europe procedures.
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of PPAP, DMAIC, APQP as it relates to supplier issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs (internal & external).
• Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain, Supplier Quality and Quality Engineering departments to drive daily actions with supplier and provide daily report out to the cross functional departments.
