R&D Senior Mechanical Engineer - Hydraulic

As Haier Europe Turkey, we are looking for a highly motivated future colleague to join ourWashing R&D Team for leading an engineering project related Washing Business sector, including Washing Machines, Dishwashers, and Tumble Dryers for the European region. As a R&D Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering design with strong collaboration with other technologies such as electronics, electromechanical and performance, as well as project partners during project development including Platform, Procurement, Manufacturing, Service and Logistics.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent departments of Universities,
• Drawings creation and relevant prototypes for laboratory tests activities for both prototypes experimentation and approvals fallowing internal and Regional Standards,
• Having at least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical System Engineer in the Industrial field with a global dimension.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection and metal forming process and serial production process
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and thermal exchange mechanism, Fluid dynamics, and its control devices.
• Strong and proven knowledge, education, and practice of complex hydraulics systems, under pressure flow and machines, like pumps, valves, diverters, and other actuation devices and piping
• Creo Cad or other high level Cad modeling software and also simulation tools, tolerance stack-up, and other quality tools. Unigraphics Cad experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Pro-active behavior, Result-oriented, Self-motivated, Dynamic, Team leader attitude, Having good communication, Problem-solving, and enacting skills,
• No obstacles for travels,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Will be resident in Eskişehir.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Leading module sets-subsystem develop/design activity along the internal C2P process or PL master schedule participating in problem-solving activities,
• Leading development with CAD-Design and dealing with tolerances evaluation tool (stack up) embedding process constraint and peculiarity as well,
• Support and lead cross-functional activities with the process partner,
• Being accountable for time plan management,
• Managing if required and after proper tutoring, assigned resources internal or external, potentially also located in a different region,
• Integrating SBD (simulation-based design) in design activity, supporting benchmarking activities, evaluating experimentation through data analysis via statistical tools such as Six Sigma, and managing intellectual properties and BOMs during the development of research projects,
• Following up with Performance Lab and LaPro (V&V) or external laboratories to test, verify and validate the proposed design,
• Issue subsystem specification and internal knowledge documentation,
• Supporting and leading cost reduction projects on the washing module and components, working closely with the relevant stakeholders,
• Providing Quality support.
