Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Facility and Energy Management Engineer

• Establishes and maintains effective maintenance procedures, including planning, scheduling, material support and analysis of cost and performance

• Responsible for implementing and following up the electrical safety guidelines and regulations that apply at a location.

• Provides technical support and staff coordination of maintenance related items

• Provide and review proposals for new machines, equipment, tools, facilities, infrastructures  (including electrical infrastructure), buildings  and plans for installation

• Responsible for plant maintenance including machines, facilities, utilities, infrasutructers (including IT cabling and electrical infrastructure), buildings  and operations to reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies

• Control, monitor and review contracts and supplier measurements

• Organize and follow up third party firms and contractors about necessary services

• Be acquainted with local/state/federal and corporate regulations and ensure to compliance with all of them and operational permits in the area of responsibility

• To be a contact person of plant for global FCM (Facility Management) organization

• Responsible for setting the directions for maintenance and FCM processes

• Follow up all energy and other resource consumptions and keep them on target by energy management

• Determines manpower requirements and schedules overtime as needed

• Maintains equipment documentation files including prints, manuals, software backups and other pertinent information

• Train employees concerning plant and job hazards and the methods in order to protect themselves

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through proper maintenance of equipment and facilities while ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies

• Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs that engage workforce and cooperatively solves problems with other departments

• Ensure maintenance department personnel are properly trained and skills are developed to achieve departmental requirements

• Provide collaborative plant engineering and maintenance support for manufacturing  products across the business unit

• Design, quote and execute facility improvement projects

• Plan, establish and implement the department budget

• Schedule planned maintenance intervals and ensure adequate spares and ensure preventative maintenance

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering preferred

• Proven track record in related area with 5-7 years experience

• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization, from production floor through Plant Manager

• Self-motivated, ability to make independent and informed decisions

• Energy management certification

• Encourage close team work between all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and related software

• Advanced level of English
