As a Strategic Portfolio Unit Manager on our Strategy Team, you will lead and execute strategic initiatives using Agile methodologies, ensuring that projects are delivered with speed, flexibility, and adaptability to changing business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders to deliver high-impact results while promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The Strategic Portfolio Unit  Manager will be accountable for the end-to-end management and delivery of strategic initiatives and projects. The Project Unit Manager will also be responsible for the establishment of the governance structure in the most appropriate way and its dynamic management in a way to adjust in accordance with the conditions and needs, and the selection of the most appropriate methods and tools for this.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with project goals & ensure the integration of all business functions to enable operational/ business readiness in the delivery of the solution
• Develop and implement the required project governance structures including Project Steering Committees, working groups, escalation, and decision pathways with agile principles in our new organization working with a “start-up mentality”
• Project Planning: Project definition and impact analysis (scope, objectives, dependencies, budget, assumptions, acceptance criteria, issues, and risks) and approvals
• Project Execution: Monitor project progress, proactively addressing any deviations from the plan and solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
• Continuous Improvement: Monitors and reports on the progress of all project activity within the project including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule and perform risk management.
• Track the utilization of resources in line with line/team managers, develop work plans and ensure clear deliverables in place and delivered
• Project Management: Plans, directs (if required), supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical and administrative functions of the assigned project or sub-task and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in a digital capacity.
• Disciplined project management professional with strong experience in the management of multiple parallel projects (small – medium) and the application of robust governance standards, including management of cost
• Experience in the delivery of projects utilizing Agile techniques, best practices, workflows, and selection of best tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.) and understanding of product delivery in practice
• Professional Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience of leading teams, supporting team development, capability uplift and performance management
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands.
• PMP certification is a plus.
