QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1987, BETA Kimya A.Ş. took its first step into the adhesive industry with the production of furniture glues. Over the years, we have continuously added value to the chemical industry with our high-quality adhesive products. Operating under the well-established Apel and Mitreapel brands, our company has expanded rapidly, now offering over 100 different products with a team of more than 250 employees.

For 37 years, BETA Kimya A.Ş. has been a key contributor to the Turkish chemical industry with its 100% domestic capital and strong corporate structure. As part of our global growth strategy, we established theBETA Kimya A.Ş. Gebkim Campus, the largest adhesive production facility in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.By the end of 2022, the facility became fully operational, marking another milestone in our international success.

As a leading brand in the industry, we are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our  Marketing and Export Department, focusing on the  European market.

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields,

  • Advanced English proficiency (Spanish or German is a strong plus),

  • Proven experience in sales and export operations,

  • Familiarity with international trade fairs and industry networking events,

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a customer-oriented mindset,

  • Analytical thinking skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and sales management,

  • Passion for learning and researching different markets, cultures, and business opportunities,

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM programs; experience with ERP systems is a plus,

  • No restrictions on international travel and extended stays abroad,

  • Valid driver’s license and active driving ability,

  • Residency or ability to commute to Bakırköy, Istanbul (European Side).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales and export strategies in coordination with management,

  • Maintain strong customer relations through regular communication, client visits, and negotiations,

  • Manage and expand the existing customer portfolio, prepare offers, and follow up on orders,

  • Track pricing, orders, and product documentation efficiently,

  • Prepare and analyze reports on customer visits, sales meetings, and market trends,

  • Represent the company at international trade fairs as both an exhibitor and visitor,

  • Address customer concerns by developing solutions and providing detailed reports,

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new customers, markets, and business opportunities,

  • Monitor customer payments and ensure alignment with company financial policies.
