Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a  Mechanical Design Manager, having the following qualifications;

Job Description 

• Managing and working in harmony with Draftsman within company
• 2D/3D designs for our product range (Oil & Gas Systems and equipment which are at company scope of supply).
• Arranging Isometric Piping
• 2D drawing extractions from 3D model
• Support to engineering activities (MTOs, BoQs, Equipment and Piping List, etc.)
• 3D coordination with other disciplines. Design reviews, etc.
• Create engineering documents using computer aided design
• Perform Vessel Analysis using PV Elite as per ASME and EN codes
• Perform Steel Structure and Frame Design which is required for our Systems
• Perform Isometric Piping and Fabrication Drawing
• Arrange Piping and Steel Structure Material List
• Perform Stress Analysis (will be advantage)
• Coordination with Outsourced Production, Procurement and Project Management
• Coordination with disciplines, vendors, suppliers, and customers.

General Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Broad understanding of on oil/gas plant & equipment; static, piping, vessel, steel structure, applicable code & standard (API, ASME, ASTM & etc.), technical drawings and project specs
• Minimum 3-5 Years’ Experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
• Familiar with international code & standard such as ASME B31.1 & 31.3, ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 1 & 2, ASME Sec. IX and EN
• Knowledge about EN, ASME, GOST
• Proficient in use of Microsoft office tools
• Proficient in use of Design Software’s (such as Autocad, Autocad Plant, Solidworks or CADworx)
• PV Elite and Ceaser knowledge will be advantage
• Excellent command of written & verbal English
