We seek for ''Technical Project Manager / Electrical Lead Engineer” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Industrial Automation, Local Business Division Energy Industries.
Your responsibilities:
- Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks for conventional projects with moderately complex features,
- Acts as a design authority for engineering deliverables in all applicable engineering disciplines,
- May act as design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline,
- Collaborates on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors.
- Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activitie
- Supports Contract Manager in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.),
- Defines project tasks and ensures allocation of these tasks among project team members.
- Defines schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
- Coordinates the creation of work plans and cost estimates in all applicable engineering disciplines,
- Evaluates risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one’s engineering projects/programs. Supports the Project
- Manager in overall project risk and opportunity assessments, and implementation of resulting actions,
- Works with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovating with the customer to drive and deliver improvements.
- Attends project meetings and presents all technical aspects of project assignments.
- Interacts with officials, contractors, suppliers, and others,
- Oversees the creation of subcontracts and manages the subcontractors jointly with other involved functions, including supply chain management.
- Negotiates claims and engineering changes,
- Leads, supervises, and coordinates teams in all disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of medium complexity.
- Leads engineering teams with 5 - 15 resources.
Your background:
- Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar,
- Good command of written & spoken of English language, German language would be a plus,
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in electrical systems;
- Transformer (Generator Step-Up, Auxiliary, ...)
- IPB
- Low and medium voltage switchgears (ZS1, ZX0.2, SafePlus, MNS, ...)
- USP, Rectifier, Batterie o VSD (LV, MV, soft starter)
- Reactive power compensation systems
- Container/eHouse o Electrical cabling
- Earthing und lightning protection
- No obstacle for travelling,
